Jane M. Kercher, M.D., F.A.C.S
Dr. Kercher is a general surgeon with a practice emphasis in breast diseases, breast cancer, and laparoscopic surgery. As a native from Wyoming, she received her B.A. degree at the University of Wyoming. She then received her Medical Degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City. Prior to moving to Denver, she practiced general surgery in Omaha, both as a private practitioner and in a teaching capacity with the University of Nebraska Medical School. She is an active member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Brest Surgeons, and the Southwest Surgical Congress. She is also on the medical staff at Littleton Hospital and serves on the Board of Directors of several medical committees. Dr. Kercher is the co-author of Straight Talk About Breast Cancer: From Diagnosis to Recovery, and she continues to make frequent presentations about breast cancer at related professional seminars.
Dr. Kercher has one son, Matthew. They enjoy bike riding, skiing, tennis, and outdoor activities. She is involved in community and church activities including participation as a board member of Lutheran Family Services.
