Denise C. Norton, M.D., F.A.C.S

Dr. Norton grew up in Park City, Utah and Tucson, Arizona. She attended the University of Arizona in Tucson for her undergraduate education and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry. She then attended the University of Arizona College of Medicine. This was followed by surgical residency at the University of Colorado where she was a Chief Resident from 1993 through 1994. After becoming Board Certified in surgery, she entered private practice in 1994. She initially practiced at Rose Medical Center specializing in advanced laparoscopic, endocrine, and breast surgery. Continuing her specialties, in 2001, she moved her practice to become a member of SurgOne, P.C. In 2004, Dr. Norton established the Denver Vein Center, which specializes in treating diseases of the veins, specifically varicose veins and spider veins using minimally invasive techniques. In addition, she provides laser anesthetic services and Botox for the treatment of wrinkles, skin laxity, hair removal, pigmented lesions, age spots, sun spots, and for skin rejuvenation. As of January 2008, she has focused her surgical practice to care of patients with breast cancer and breast disease. Dr. Norton is the Medical Director for the Breast Care Center at Saint Joseph Hospital. As well, she continues to care for patients at the Denver Vein Center.

Dr. Norton’s interests include traveling with her husband, skiing, hiking, and biking.
