Warren Kortz, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Warren Kortz was born and raised in Denver. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Dartmouth College and then attended the University of Colorado Medical School. After an 8 year stay at Duke University for clinical research and surgical training, he returned to a practice of general and transplant surgery in South Denver. He has kept pace with the rapidly developing field of advanced laparoscopic surgery. He is trained and experienced in the use of the daVinci robot in complex laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Warren Kortz cares for all surgical patients with cancer as well as endocrine, gastrointestinal, liver, bile duct, and pancreas problems. He is a transplant surgeon with the transplant program at Porter Adventist Hospital.
