MEET Amanda Mankey

Amanda Mankey brings over 15 years of specialized experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, coding compliance, and medical billing leadership. Her extensive background spans hospital systems, oncology networks, military medical facilities, and private practices, making her a dynamic and seasoned asset to the SurgOne team.

Most recently, Amanda served as a medical coder at Wilford Hall Medical Center, where she ensured accuracy and compliance in outpatient and ambulatory surgery coding for military healthcare services. Before that, she held progressive roles at US Oncology, including Senior AR Specialist and Research Coding Analyst, where she championed billing integrity, led appeals processes, mentored teams, and streamlined workflows to boost reimbursement outcomes. Her early leadership experience as a Billing Supervisor and Practice Administrator at Pediatrix Medical Group honed her skills in staff development, reporting, compliance, and credentialing.

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix and is a Certified Professional Coder through AAPC.

Based in Denver, Colorado, Amanda lives with her husband and has two children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and embracing the moments that matter most.
